Tribeca Film Institute’s Reframe Collection Offers Cutting Edge Distribution Solutions
LOS ANGELES- House of Film is excited to announce their recent partnership with the Tribeca Film Institute Reframe Collection. This new undertaking will put select movies from House of Film’s collection into the prodigious Tribeca Film Institute Reframe volume.
The Reframe program – funded by John D. & Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, and the National Endowment for the Arts – seeks to empower filmmakers through curating films on their site and facilitating fair and effective distribution for their films.
Tribeca Film Institute Reframe aims to assist filmmakers, distributors, archives, libraries and other media owners to digitize and sell their work in the US domestic marketplace, and to become a one- stop location for anyone seeking these films. In addition to bringing together works from independent and alternative media – much of it available to the public for the first time – Reframe aims to enrich the experience by offering professional insight and encouraging discussion.
Under a unique deal with Amazon’s CreateSpace, Tribeca Film Institute Reframe projects are placed in non-exclusive distribution through the Amazon storefront and Reframe website. Titles will have the option to also be sold via download or streaming through Amazon.
